About us
Chaat built in front of you, curries that take all morning, and a sweet case.
The room
Mahek Indian Restaurant is our Sugar Land kitchen. The chaat counter is the part people talk about — pani puri and dahi puri assembled in front of you rather than plated in the back, because chaat does not survive the walk.
We are open seven days a week, from ten in the morning until ten at night.

The sweet case
The mithai case is the reason a lot of people make the drive. Made in small batches rather than held for days, and sold loose or boxed.
Around Eid and Diwali it does not stop, and neither do the wedding and office orders. If you need a quantity, ring ahead.
How we cook
Curries are built in the morning and finished to order. The Indo-Chinese comes out of the wok when you ask for it, not before.

Behind both kitchens
Where these recipes came from, how they travelled, and how they ended up in two kitchens twenty minutes apart.
